Page Background: Uses Populace Badge repeated in pattern. Optionally other badges or heraldic designs could be used. (I have a preference not to use devices that client is not entitled to use.)
Text Background: Uses a Complementary or Contrasting Colour to the Badge.
This example uses the Principality of Tir Righ Populace Badge.
Device features a top plaque with shields which link to other sites which include The SCA, Kingdom of An Tir, Principality of Tir Righ, Barony of Lions Gate, Clan Mac Andrew, and Wade's personal web site. Other branch and group affiliations would be reflected as desired.
Main body of page consists of a table with four primary areas:
- Small area for personal heraldry which could be heraldic device, achievement, badge, crest, or other indentifying symbol such as standard or impresse.
- Title area with fancy lettered graphic for identifying name of person. This is done as a graphic to allow for fancy caligraphic fonts to be used without worrying about font display issues.
- Narrow column for Photos and other Graphics which the client might wish to display. These Photos are of moderate size and may be used as links to larger versions of the same image. Arrangements might be made for improving or creating images from other images. For example removing modern items from otherwise "period scenes" or using a modern head shot with a body shop in a fantasy medieval costume or themed image. Basic navigation links are included here at the top to make them easy to find.
- Wide column for an SCA Resumé and perhaps Persona information with room for Links of interest and Contact information that you would like to list. Room also for a headshot.
