Seventh Gaming Session

   June 18th ADH 6 pm

Two large and two small lizard types are spotted  travelling northerly on road through ruined city. They do not spot the party.

The party climbs the ridge to the west of the ruins to be able to see the lay of the land. It takes them the remainder of the day. From the ridge they get a good view of the valley  below. In the distance they can see that there are small groups of "troops" heading northward. Probably more of the lizard creatures. The withdraw to the base of cliffs which rise from the shoulder of the talis slope they are on in order to camp in some shelter from site and wind.

During the night there are noises from above on the cliff and in the dead of night comes a crashing. A boulder crashes down, dislodged by the change in temperature from night to day. It crushes two basrrels and destroys one packframe.

   June 19th ADH

Starting at 6am the Party heads southly along the direction the ridge would extend towards some darker earth. The bottom of the "valley" appears mottled with lighter and darker areas. Upon reaching one of the darker areas it is determined that the darker areas are dark by virtue of a form of lichen growing on slightly firmer earth in those areas. They return to the ridge and work their way back northward along the east side of the mountain ridge along an outcropping starting around 10am. The find some diggings around the base around 11:30am but nothing comes of the investigation of them. They continue northerly 'til siesta at 4pm. Around 4:40pm a column of lizard creatures pass on the road in the distance. This is a fairly substantial column with outriders. It passes without noticing the party who are trying to be inconspicuous.

The party follows the outcrop to where it meets up with the badlands and the follow the badlands into the general direction of where the trail exits them and make camp. The camp though is well enough away from the narrow pass where the trail exits and secure in a box canyon

A normal day in Summer starts with the camp waking around 4am and fed by 6am. Siesta at 2 to 4pm until 5 or 6pm Camp is made around 9pm  with first watch starting 10pm to 12am second watch from 12am to 2am third watch from 2am to 4am. There is some flexibility with some waking as early as 4am and others as late as nearly 6am depending on watches. Siesta will tend to start earlier and end later.

A normal marching day in the shorter days of the year will begin with a 5am start and the Morning march starting by 6am. The march will continue until Siesta at 2pm. The afternoon march starts at 4pm and continues til 8pm when camp will be made. First watch goes from 9pm to 12am, Second watch from 12am to 3am, and third watch from 3am to 6am. Of course things are flexible
